As a New York photographer who grew up in Harlem and later worked in news, I’m drawn to the unposed, everyday moments of people living and moving through the city. I work quietly and without staging, photographing what I find while respecting the dignity and integrity of the people I encounter. This way of observing the city has shaped my work, including photographs exhibited at The Pennsylvania State University and Pittsburgh’s Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild.
